Sabriya had a week out of school, called FALL BREAK here in Arizona and since we weren't able to take any trips this past summer while we were waiting on Malaysia, we decided to take this opportunity to visit. Sabriya, Shamara, Ken, Malaysia, Santana and I headed to Louisiana to visit family and then Shamara, Ken & Malaysia took a few extra days and went to Dallas to visit his family. While in Louisiana, we visisted my parents, brothers & sisters, aunts & uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews and on and on and on.... There is no place like HOME & FAMILY! We had a great time wrapped in the arms of our families, home cooked meals, naps on the couch... Each time I visit, I have to add up for my dad all of his grandkids and great grandkids my parents are now up to 32 grands and 23 great grands or something like that. Each time I do this it always amazes me that from my 11 siblings those 32 grandkids come from only 5 of us. I HOPE YOU ENJOY ALL THE FAMILY PICTURES!

A couple of weeks back, Sabriya had her Volleyball year end season party and we dropped in to celebrate with her and the team with pizza and awards then a very fun and competitive game of volleyball with the girls against their parents.
Schnepf Farms - we took some of our gang here this past Sunday evening, enjoying the "Harvesty" scenary, the grandkids and in general more time together creating precious memories. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked to, but here you go and I think you will enjoy them just the same. Click on the photo and a larger box will appear and then you can flip through the pictures book style. I love finding new ways to showcase the photos and this one is pretty cool - A PICTURE BOOK!
One of the most beautiful miracles in our lives, one of the greatest joys we will ever know, and some of the reasons why there is a little extra sunshine, laughter and happiness in our world today. Oh, baby girl you have stolen our hearts, we have loved you from the very start! All dressed in pink from head to toe and hugging you makes our hearts glow! In your short little time here, you have blessed and changed our lives FOREVER!
Happy 3 months Malaysia!

He is a Chief Master Sergeant in the USAF serving in Afghanistan... as high as you can go in enlisted ranks (E-9) ...this little girl's entire family was executed. The insurgents intended to execute the little girl also and shot her in the head... but they failed to kill her. She was cared for in John's hospital and is healing up, but continues to cry and moan. The nurses said John is the only one who seems to calm her down, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both slept in that chair. The girl is coming along with her healing. He is a real Star of the war, and represents what the members of our services are trying to do. This, my friends, is worth sharing. Go for it!! You'll never see things like this in the news. Believe it or not, this was a YMCA Gym on the West Side but I didn't even notice the PINK until I was looking back at the pictures. How funny is that? I know some girls who might like the idea of pink gyms, bet you do too. Here are a few of my favorite shots from this game.
My eyes look kind of crazy in this picture... but really I wasn't intoxicated or anything else, tired maybe... actually a constant state I seem to be in daily, Haha! I got to enjoy all 3 of my grandbabies this day as we watched my baby Briya play some volleyball at Grace Community Christian School. Here are just a few of my favorite shots from the game.
This Saturday 3 weeks ago started out with a Soccer game in Ahwatukee at Desert Foothills Park about 15 miles from home at 8:00AM. Then on to a Volleyball tournament on the West Side 47+ miles in Glendale at 75th Avenue between Beardsley & Deer Valley that lasted until 4:00PM. Not done yet, from there we dashed across 40 miles to Mesa (DON'T ASK) for a 5:00PM Basketball game on Mesa Drive & Main Street. After the game, 13 miles home bound we are but only for a quick shower and change of clothes then off to a Birthday party... Another 13 miles, 2 more hours, Happy Birthday wishes & 3 dances and we headed back another 13 miles HOME!
