Joy!

When we are not feeling happiness it does not mean the joy has left our heart... on a rainy day, the sun is still present right; it's just covered by the clouds for awhile.  When we allow circumstances to determine how we feel, we tend to forget that the joy in our heart can still exist in times of happiness and sadness...

Our Father is waiting for us to realize that there is nothing... not one burden, ache, or fear that the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace cannot cover with the power of redeeming Grace...  When we know that, then we've grasped that "He is with us" right here right now and always.  He's sufficient for all that He allows us to endure.

Today, I'm grateful that God's faithfulness and presence gives me every reason to feel joy even if the happiness is momentarily absent.
