Children are a wonderful heritage from the Lord! (Psalm 127:3)
We had Lola & RJ dedicated today. We watched proudly as Mark & Shannon and Reggie & Shamesha made a promise to God to do everything within their power to raise their children in a godly way, prayerfully until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God. They were instructed by Pastor as he prayed a blessing over their bundles of joy, to raise their child in the ways of God, and not according to their own ways. Some of the responsibilities included teaching and training the child in God's Word, demonstrating an example of godliness, disciplining according to God's ways, and praying earnestly for their children.
