DENIM & Diamonds

Last Night we attended Grace's annual Denim & Diamond Dinner Auction held at the Chandler Hilton.  Sabriya had to work the event with a couple of other cheerleaders, so it was fun being there and seeing her so active and involved with her school functions. They sold raffle tickets and during the live auction were runners, collecting the bids and getting them out to the ladies for tallying. We had a great time especially since I was able to not only dress up like a cowgirl (did I ever mention that I could be a cowgirl in my other life) but got to BLING IT too, oh yeah FUN! It was also tons of fun to walked through the silent auction items bidding on some really fun stuff. We had to write our bids on the bid sheets and then move on, we couldn't hover to watch who might come along and out bid us, hmmmm! Well, the rules didn't say that we couldn't make the loop and come back around, especially with seconds to go until the silent auction closed... let's just say I came home with 5 awesome prizes: Horse riding lessons with the Saunders (Shanel will be fighting Sabriya for this one & she's not even a student at GCCS any longer.); Private volleyball lessons with Mr. Kok for Sabriya; Movie & Dinner for 4; Cupcakes from Sprinkles in Scottsdale; and a Free Month at Cross Fit Gym which is a fitness gym that uses gymnastics & weightlifting for a total body workout... sounds painful but I'm down.

Our Honey Bear's BBQ donation to the LIVE AUCTION - Surf & Turf Dinner for 25.  We actually ended up donating a 2nd one during the auction since there were 2 bidders who really wanted this item.
