She started her day off with an early morning hike with Ken and a couple of friends, and I know this because guess where Malaysia was... then she pampered herself throughout the day with a pedicure, then a manicure, then a few hours of deciding on what to wear, what shoes would be the most stunning and last but not least styling her hair :) THAT'S OUR GIRL! Then off to dinner at the Elephant Bar in Chandler with part of the family who wasn't working or parent sitting.

GIFT TIME!
You can't see the actual gift but it is a necklace from Ken, sort of like a glass locket filled with hand picked charms which he (Ken) selected: a K & M for Ken & Malaysia and a princess crown for Shamara instead of her S (hint, hint is that saying something), a cross, a heart that said "family" and I can't remember what else but it is a very beautiful and thoughtful gift from the heart. Great Job Ken you get major points :)

After dinner, we went back to the house for her SURPRISE gift that was sitting inside the foyer when she walked through the front door... her very own treadmill!

Not 1 but 2 birthday cakes, because of course she had to have one from Malaysia to celebrate her first birthday as a Mommy! Once again points to Ken, he racked up some serious brownie ones tonight.
