Happy 13th Birthday Sabriya!

PART I

We started her birthday celebration on the 17th at 8pm waiting in line at Harkins Theaters Chandler Fashion Center for the midnight premier of Breaking Dawn Part 1  -  actually I have to insert here that two of her big sisters who just love her dearly sat all day starting at 10am with chairs, jackets, blankets, phones, and homework... and held our spaces in line so that we could be in the first group of "Twi-Hards" (see definition below) to enter the theater...

Our group: the birthday Girl - Ms. Sabriya Smith (who YES still had to go to school the next day), Ms. Shanel Smith (sister #4), Ms. Shamesha Smith soon to be Mrs. Reinaldo Sheffield (sister #3), Ms. Shamara Smith (sister #2), Ms. Santana Smith (sister #1), Ms. Shannon Smith (sister-in-law #1 and only), Ms. Lorrie Loomer, Ms. Malaysia Iwebema (#1 niece) YESSSSSS almost 4 months old and a Twi-Hard fan even if she doesn't know it yet and of course Me (mom of those 5 beautiful sisters, Anna, author of this blog :), oh and 100's of other Twi-Hard fans...

Enjoying time together while we wait, and wait, and wait...

PROOF that YES we actually did do this, at midnight on a school / work night and YES we were all worn out the next day and as a matter of fact, I'm still worn out today.

Umm, we made into the theatre and grabbed the best seats in the house but still had 2 and 1/2 hours of waiting before the show started and so what do you do after hours and hours of waiting in a very long line, you take a nap and when you do that and leave your camara unsupervised then this is what happens - somebody takes unauthorized photos of you, it's a good thing we weren't drooling. Haha! I still don't know who took this picture since so many heads are covered up with blankets or jackets.

PART 2 - SCHOOL

Her friends at school surprised her by decorating her locker and her desk in her homeroom class with wrapping paper and bows and I believe some of them wrote happy birthday notes on the wrapping paper. Her daddy and big brother brought her a hamburger for lunch per her request and cake pops to share with her friends.

PART 3 - DANCE

Of course her birthday celebration wouldn't be complete without celebrating with her friends at dance, so she came home from school for a quick change and hug from her 2 nephews (Trey & Boston) then off to dance she went for 2 hours of classes and more cake pops.

PART 4 - FAMILY

PRESENTS

When Bri was a little girl, she loved the book I Love You to the Moon & Back Again and every night for years now (yes, even now) when I kiss her goodnight, I say. "I love you to the moon." and she replys "and back again."  So when I saw this necklace, I knew that it would be my special gift to her for her 13th birthday.  A sterling silver moon charm handstamped "I love you to the moon and back" and a circle disc also handstamped with her name "Sabriya Cianne" hangs on a sterling silver chain with a freshwater pearl dangling in between

Mark, Shannon, Trey & Boston gave her a Visa (?) Gift Card to use wherever she'd like too on whatever she maybe didn't get from her birthday wish list.

and by far the best present of all and actually after all is said and done we all could have saved ourselves some money because this was really what she wanted more than anything and had to wait more than 2 years to received and that would beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee her

So we all gathered around and helped her get it setup...  It was funny listening to her siblings tell her what she could and couldn't do on it; who could be a friend and who couldn't; Shamesha even took control of the laptop for a bit and went in and setup all the security restrictions so that pretty much no personal info is available to the public.  This is LOVE and it is PriceLESS!

PART 5 - Her Friends SURPRISE!

Her friends are here now, decorating her room while she's at dance but she doesn't know ANYTHING about it.  So when she gets home she will be TOTALLY SuRpRiSeD! They will hang out here with her for awhile then take her to the movies.  So SWEET friends!
