July 4th

Not much happening at the Smith's for the 4th, it was really just a day of rest since we are always so busy, busy, busy. I did get up bright and early and dragged a few of the clan along with me for a 4th of July hike up Squaw Peak at 4:30am. After that we came home and I think they all showered and went back to sleep... Santana (I'm so glad she's home!) and Mark cooked for us later in the day and we just hung out eating and talking. Santana cooked neck bones & cabbage and Mark contributed fried chicken wings, mac & cheese and collard greens - YUM!  Shamara, Ken, Taylor & Baby CJ and Marcus all came over and stayed for the day but I didn't even take anymore pictures, imagine that - Shhhh, don't tell, but it was mainly because I was PINNING ( my NEWEST obsession I mean hobby)!  Click <<< over there on the word "pinning" to see what I've been up to.
